About Kate

Kate Kissell brings years of experience and a knack for home decorating and design to Picadilly Interiors. Her love of rich fabrics, unique accents and the talent to bring new life to your furniture and space are the heart of Picadilly Interiors.

A graduate of Penn State University in Art Education, Ms. Kissell has also received extensive training at the Custom Home Furnishing Academy in Charlotte, North Carolina. Kate has an advantage over other decorators because of her expertise and background in fabrication, production and design as well as her ability to make on the spot adjustments and customization in her State College workroom.

In Kate’s own words… “Many years ago, my inspiration was triggered by a card my sister sent me that said I was “of rare ingenuity and resourcefulness.” Her confidence inspired me to share my love of decorating with others. I believe that the rooms we fill and live in should be comfortable and inviting.”

Kate is a member of the Society of Decorating Professionals (SDP) and the Window Coverings Association of America (WCAA) and is an invited member of the DRAPERY & DESIGN PROFESSIONAL publication Advisory Board.
