At The Kissell Workroom, our goal is to encourage you to dress your home in style by updating one soft furnishing at a time.

 

All classes take place at Kissell Workroom and are hands on. We ask that that registrants provide their own sewing machine. Cost per class is $50. Materials fees may be additional. Class schedule is subject to change without notice. Go to the CONTACT US page and sign up.

Easy bedskirts

Give your bed a finished look with a custom bedskirt. Watch me demo the process; you will love how much sense this easy method takes to achieve.

Valances - rod pocket styles

Dress your window with a beautiful valance mounted on a rod. A selection of fabric remnants will be available for each student to make a sample shirred valance.

 

 

Basic wrap & staple

Are you ready to giving your dining room chairs a fresh new look?  Join us and learn how to replace the tired old fabric with new decorator quality fabrics. We will be using the tools that the professionals use, plus you will learn the tricks of the trade in the process. All of this will be happening in our inspirational custom workroom. This is a NO SEW class. (Sewing machine is not required).

 

 

Learn to make a roman shade

Roman shades are a simple, yet elegant window treatment and are a great place to start for a beginner home decorator. A selection of beautiful fabric remnants will be available to complete your sample size roman shade.

 

 

Learn to make a decorative pillow

Decorative pillows are the perfect way to brighten up a room.. Students may select from our beautiful fabric remnants to complete an accent pillow to take home.
